FAQs
-
I offer in-person sessions in Cardiff (Wales, UK) and online sessions across the UK.
-
Therapeutic counselling and mentoring sessions are £55 a session.
-
I offer a limited number of session slots at concessionary rates for those who cannot afford sessions at their full cost. Consessionary or reduced rates start at £35 a session.
If these slots are full, I will not be able to offer you reduced rates. I may suggest bi-weekly sessions to lower costs for you.
-
Payment is accepted via bank transfer only, and sessions must be paid for in advance.
Bank details are included within the contract sent before your first session.
-
Unfortunately, I do not currently accept health insurance as payment for sessions.
-
I work Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays currently. Session times are daytimes and evenings, 10am – 7pm, depending on availability.
-
Please cancel sessions 48 hours or more in advance, to avoid cancellation fees. If you cancel under 48 hours in advance, the full fee is charged.

I use a variety of therapeutic approaches and modalities to inform my therapeutic work. I am a person-centred, pluralistic counsellor, meaning I draw on a variety of approaches to provide the most appropriate and helpful therapy for you. I always havea neuro-affirming and person-centred approach.
Other theories and approaches I like to draw from include: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Transational Analysis (TA), Internal Family Systems (IFS), relational work, systems work and creative methods.
I also draw from my experience working with charities and schools as a trainer and specialist ALN/autism teacher to support my work. You can read more about this on my ‘about me’ page.
I never use applied behaviour analysis (ABA) with my clients.
