‘they finally opened up, and we need help’

‘she was bullied… she’s still scared to make friends’

‘he’s always on edge. I try to help - it’s not working’

‘she’s going to university and totally overwhelmed’

‘I’m worried the pressure of exams and school is getting out of control for them’

teens deserve to feel like they belong

therapeutic services

As the parent of a neurodivergent teenager, you’re trying so hard to help them feel confident and comfortable. Perhaps, they have had some difficult experiences at school or in life generally which have led them to go inwards and shut down.

I provide therapeutic mentoring for teens aged 13 and up. Mentoring is structured and goal-focused work that identifies and supports a teens’ main worries or concerns.

A woman with shoulder-length red hair and glasses holding a ceramic mug stands in front of a green upholstered booth with plants on a shelf behind her, next to a laptop on a woven table.

Working in a neurodivergent-affirming and trauma-informed way, I slow the pace of therapeutic work with teens right down to prioritise building trust and safety. I recommend teens have at least 12 sessions, with the option for an extended timeframe.

  • Confidence and self-esteem

  • Social and relationship skills

  • Gaining independence

  • Transitions (e.g. going to school or university)

  • LGBTQ+ experiences

  • Accessibility & adjustments for living

I support teens struggling with:

A cartoon-style drawing of a person with a large head, holding a cookie in one hand. The person has minimal facial details, and the image is outlined with thick brown lines, with beige skin tone and brown hair.

I offer parents a 30-minute initial assessment call, to build an understanding of what kind of support your teen needs. This is also a chance for you to get to know me, and ask any questions.
