My therapy office

I have designed my office with my clients in mind, and hope you will find it a comfortable and peaceful space.

There is a lot of natural light, and so I rarely have lights on in the room. If it is dark, we can turn on a lamp with low, warm light. I take care not to use heavily scented cleaning products, perfumes etc. There is a fan, windows that open, and blankets available.

If there is anything you find difficult about the sensory environment, please let me know so I can make adjustments!

This is the chair you will sit in. Please feel free to move cushions and blankets around as you like them. There is also a floor cushion and a desk chair if you would prefer to sit on one of these.

There is both a normal and a weighted blanket in the basket next to the chair, help yourself.

This is your dedicated little table space. There are lots of sensory tools, a small clock and some tissues. There’s a bin under the table, too.

At the beginning of each session, I will offer you a drink while you are settling in. I usually have black teas, herbal teas, earl grey tea, hot chocolate and coffees. I also have a mini-fridge, and usually have cold water, diet coke, caffeine-free coke, fruity sparkling waters etc. Please let me know if you have a favourite drink as I would be glad to provide it!

There are plenty of creative tools you can use, and I have colouring books too for clients that would like something to do with their hands during sessions. Please feel free to use these!

Here are some more photos of the room!
